Roberts Recycling Ltd (trading as Recycle 4 School) terms and conditions for your access to and use of the “Service” is subject exclusively to these terms and conditions. By using the service you are fully accepting the terms, conditions and disclaimers contained in this notice. These terms and conditions apply to the goods and services offered from the company, to you and by ordering, you agree to be bound by them. No part of these terms and conditions affects your statutory rights as a customer.

External Bin

Roberts Recycling Ltd will provide and arrange delivery of an external textile bin at the customer’s request. This service is provided to the customer or registered participant FREE of charge. The bin will remain the sole property of Roberts Recycling Ltd during the transportation, delivery and use of the bin.

The external bin will be required to be positioned in an approved location and cannot be moved without permission from Roberts Recycling Ltd. The external bin must have sufficient safe access for use by the participants.

In order to cover the cost of delivery, the bin must remain on site for a minimum of 12 months. Roberts Recycling Ltd reserves the right to remove the bin from any registered participant’s site within 1 week’s prior notice.

Internal Bin 

Roberts Recycling Ltd will provide and arrange delivery of an internal cardboard textile bin at the customer’s request. c. The bin will remain the sole property of Roberts Recycling Ltd during the transportation, delivery and use of the bin.

The internal bin will be required to be positioned in a safe secure area. Under no circumstances is the cardboard bin to be placed outside.

External and Internal Bin Collections

Roberts Recycling Ltd will use their own collectors or a subcontractor to collect material from either the external or internal bin. We aim to carry out the collection within 7 working days of a collection request. Roberts Recycling Ltd is unable to collect any material which does not meet its specification. This includes any material which is wet. Failure to comply with this may result in a failed collection and non-payment made.

Bin Performance

Roberts Recycling Ltd will continually monitor the performance of the external and internal bin.

If the external bin or internal bin does not meet our stated kilogram minimum target of 600kg’s per 12 month period or 50kgs per month we will contact the registered participant to encourage the use of the bin and our service. If after a further 3 month monitor period the performance of the bin is below the stated kilogram minimum target we will write to inform the registered participant that we will be removing the external bin from the site within a 7 day stated period. We reserve the right to change or amend the minimum kilogram target at any time.

Bag Collection

For customers who wish to use our Bag Collection Service we will provide the necessary tools to take part free of charge.

Customer Responsibility

At the time of registration / order please notify Roberts Recycling Ltd of any special delivery instructions. On delivery of your External, Internal bin or Roberts Recycling Ltd bags please inspect them for damage and notify Roberts Recycling Ltd within 3 working days.

Thereafter, please monitor the condition of the bin and inform us if it becomes a danger, hazard or not in a proper usable condition.

Collection Disclaimer

We reserve the right to refuse a collection of anything which does not comply with our specification.

Price per Tonne

Any price shown or offered is only valid at the date of collection. Roberts Recycling Ltd reserves the right at any time to adjust the prices according to market conditions.

Payment

Payment will be made within 10 working days.

Delivery

The delivery of goods (external textile bin and internal cardboard bin) will be undertaken by our own drivers or a subcontractor. The timescale given for delivery of the external bin and internal bin will be dependent on current stock availability.

Quality and Material Accepted

We accept the following wearable items (in wearable condition): All men’s, ladies and children’s clothing, Paired Shoes, Handbags, bags, ties and belts.

Roberts Recycling Ltd cannot accept and pay for the following items: Soiled or wet clothing, Workwear, Shredded or mutilated textile material, Textile offcuts, yarns or threaded material, Household linen & towels, Duvets both synthetic and feathered, Pillows & cushions and Carpets & Rugs.

If any of the above items are contained within your collection they will be weighed and you will be informed of any discrepancies. We are also unable to accept any goods which have been through any sort of processing other than to remove items which do not meet our specification. Items arising from other businesses dealing in waste or second hand clothing or the leftovers from a clothing sale are not acceptable. We reserve the right to deduct these weights from subsequent payments.

Termination of Agreement

The agreement can be terminated at any time by either party by giving one months written notice. For the duration of the term and for a period of 12 months after termination, the service user will not acquire or receive, any clothes recycling or related services, for use in any territory whatsoever, from any other service providers.

Severance

Each provision of these Terms & Conditions of Use shall be construed separately and independently of each other and the validity of any part shall not affect the validity of any other part.

Warranties

You warrant that you will use this service only in accordance with these Terms & Conditions of Use and only for lawful purposes and in a lawful manner; and all information which you provide to us is true, accurate, current and complete in all respects and that you will notify us immediately of any changes to such information.

Indemnity

You agree to fully indemnify, defend and hold us, and our officers, directors, employees, agents and suppliers, harmless immediately on demand, from and against all claims, liability, damages, losses, costs and expenses, including legal fees, arising out of any breach of these Terms & Conditions of Use by you or other liabilities arising out of your use of the service.

Imitation of Liability

We will not be liable in contract, tort, negligence, for pre-contract or other representations (other than fraudulent or negligent representations) or otherwise out of or in connection with the use of the service or supply of goods or, likewise, for any consequential or economic loss (including without limitation loss of revenues, profits, contracts, business or anticipated savings); or any special or indirect losses whatsoever. This does not exclude liability for breach of contract in the supply of goods where the limit of our liability shall be the purchase price of the goods.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions of Use shall exclude or limit liability for death or personal injury resulting from our negligence or that of our agents or employees.
